Physio Dynamik is proud to support Lissa, world champion in synchronized figure skating.

Without a doubt, Lissa is an athlete at heart. From a very young age, she demonstrated a particular talent for various sports such as badminton, soccer, dance, and mini-handball. One of the sports that allowed her to travel across Canada is baton twirling. She even managed to win several gold medals and the title of national champion in her category at the age of 11. Practicing multiple sports made her realize just how competitive she is and always ready to push herself further.

However, her true passion remains figure skating. It is a sport that requires immense discipline and training. She dedicated many years to it, and it is thanks to skating that she has experienced the most beautiful moments of her life. She put on her first pair of skates at the age of 3, not knowing that skating would become the central element of her life. Originally from New Brunswick, it is there that she began her sporting career. For 13 years, she practiced her sport in her hometown, achieving memorable milestones such as the Canada Games in 2015 and her first national championships in 2016 in the novice category.

Later, at the age of 16, she decided to move to the South Shore of Montreal, away from her family, in order to train more seriously at a “Sport-études” center. She competed in 3 national championships, this time in the junior category. She then began to compete in the senior ladies’ category, the highest level in figure skating.

As much as it has been fulfilling, her journey has been filled with obstacles. Indeed, various injuries, particularly to her back and ankle, made her question her athletic future. Nevertheless, not wanting to give up, she decided to try synchronized skating. Lissa is now in her third year with the Les Suprêmes senior team from Saint-Léonard and participates in numerous international competitions.

In 2023 and 2024, she and her team won the synchronized skating world championships.
