We move throughout the day!
Far from the cliché of static desk work, we know that alternating between sitting and standing positions is beneficial for posture and blood circulation. Working standing for certain tasks, using adjustable desks, and taking regular breaks are habits integrated into our routine. These effective actions help prevent muscle fatigue and promote better concentration.
While you’re at the clinic, you might see us cleaning tables, folding towels, and other tasks that are scattered throughout our days to keep us moving.
Promote an active daily life
It’s no secret: physical exercise contributes to physical and mental health. At the clinic, we hear physiotherapists mention this daily, in addition to practicing physical exercise themselves. Naturally, we also choose to do it and feel the effects. We can come to work by bike and enjoy an energizing start to the day. Or integrate a running session at lunchtime, which allows us to recharge and come back more focused and motivated for the afternoon. Ultimately, any activity we choose to do is neither too big nor too small if it is adapted to our abilities.
A social and friendly atmosphere
Well-being isn’t limited to exercise alone; it also involves enriching relationships with our colleagues. We have a social committee that makes sure to choose diverse activities, such as taking us to the sugar shack or hiking. Despite their efforts, we don’t always wait for organized activities to relieve stress and benefit from our positive group dynamics, whether it’s by an outing after work or taking advantage of our shared lunch breaks.
