Any <\/span>acute traumatic musculoskeletal injury\u00a0<\/span><\/b>(e.g. a fall) that has <\/span>occurred within 72 hours<\/span><\/b> can benefit from such a prescription, which means no more long waits at the emergency room; your local physical therapist can now evaluate and assess the need for medical imagery! <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, as of July 2022, X-rays that have been prescribed by a certified Physical Therapist are covered by RAMQ.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
