The face coverings have become a symbol of the pandemic era – a visual metaphor for the little invisible viral enemy who could hide in any corner. Some opt for a scarf wrapped around their face, others settle for a t-shirt pulled up over their mouths.<\/p>\n

A few months ago, anyone wearing a mask in public would have attracted attention. Currently, they remind us of the strange times in which we live. Now that the government is beginning to loosen containment and allow citizens to go out into the community again, an increasing number of people are choosing to wear face coverings.<\/p>\n

A homemade face cover<\/a> can reduce the number of droplets each of us emits while we speak. A face cover is enough to significantly reduce the amount of virus that escapes when breathing and especially when coughing.
