Mahmud Miah

B.Sc.PT, M.Sc., PHT, MOPPQ

Mahmud Miah is a physiotherapist who graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Université de Montreal. He speaks English, French and Bengali.

His main interest as a physiotherapist is the analysis of the quality of movement for his clients. In particular, he likes to discover the mechanisms of injury with the aim of developing personalized solutions for each individual.

Mahmud is a physiotherapist with a passion for orthopedics and sports injury rehabilitation. He practiced soccer for a long time, but injuries held him back and motivated him to develop his interest in sports-related rehabilitation.

Mahmud is always looking to improve himself as a physiotherapist. His interests are in orthopedic physiotherapy with a particular emphasis on manual therapy and motor control of complex movements.

Outside of physiotherapy, Mahmud has his place in the Canadian Armed Forces, where he is regularly involved with the Reserves.

Since discovering Brazilian jiu-jutsu, he has become passionate about it and is now an avid martial artist.
